Recruiting Forum Football Talk LIII

A little late to the farts convo from last night but I’m on a train from NYC to Connecticut right now and just let one rip in a full cart. It was so bad I heard a couple people behind me moaning and coughing in disgust. I of course turned around with a look of disgust myself to throw them off. :dunno:

Ripping a righteous one still feels so good to me.

As 2017 draws to a close, time for a big shout-out to AD Phil Fulmer. Thank you for coming to the rescue of Vol nation and UT in general. You could have remained bitter like Majors at how the end of your coaching career occurred. In both situations it was time to go. Both had the ability to choose the high road or the low road in response. If we are honest, we know the one who chose the high road. Phil remained an orange blooded supporter that did what he was allowed to do to help until his number was once again called to go into the game and save it for the home team. Can't say the same thing for drunken Johnny who continued to bite the bait of his "friends" in the media to fire volleys at Phil and UT throughout. Maybe he can enjoy a toast with his friend Schiano this New Year's to ease the pain. Or maybe he could make a resolution to let his bitterness go for the sake of the same UT that helped him achieve a great career. Just a thought.

2018 is going to be an epic turnaround. It has been masterfully orchestrated by CJP and Phil. Thanks for helping this to occur, Aunt Bev. Vols4us is now a sold out sunshine pumper.

My hope for the RF in 2018 is to be free of posters sowing seeds of discontent for trolling purposes. This is too good of place for guys to relax, release frustration, and discuss all things Vols thanks to Freak to have that continue.

Guys this is how we set ourselves up to be upset. I hope it is Cochran but we need to not get ahead of ourselves. Pruitt has put together a great staff and I am sure the S&C coach will be a great hire as well (even if it isn’t Cochran).

It seems no one compares to Cochran, but it sure seems that the alternate is vic viloria if no Cochran and he ain't too bad. We will just have to see.

if you have made it through the last decade being a Vols fan then not getting a certain strength coach shouldnt upset you that much if thats what happens. Been through much worse and so much embarrassment. Let them hope and be excited. Theyre def putting together one of the top 5 staffs in college football.

AZ has to be one of the best states for road travel. Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Route 66 in Williams, Sedona, Lake Havasu, 4 corners, etc.

Even better for motorcycles. Factor in cheap gas prices and cost of living.

I could go on and on. Stick to the summers up in Flagstaff area and the winters in Phoenix and you’ll be good.

All of the gorgeous BLM and National Forest Land to go hike and explore.

No f”@&ing daylight savings time.

I miss living in Arizona like crazy.

We absolutely did. There's a couple for sure.

Too bad we didn't process TA when we had the chance..

I see we have lost contain on the Tanner Antonnuti thread.

2319! 2319!

SIAP, but anyone else think Wisconsin QB Hornibrook plays exactly like a left handed Peyton? His footwork and ball handling and accuracy are dead on. He will be starting on Sundays.

I am hearing all these coaches being mentioned for the Titans job, did I miss where Mularkey was fired?

He is not and don't expect him too either. I don't see why there is smoke building around our job at all, Mularkey is Adam's man I see him being retained for at least one more year. Also no thanks on McDaniels if we did make a move, his tenure at Denver wasn't awe inspiring, any man who trades up to draft Tebow does not deserve another HC gig.
