Sorry to hear about that. Will be praying they get caught. My son had his card info stolen in a red box DVD rental unit. The bank helped him and he got all his money back except maybe around 20.00. Took about a week to ten days. He got a little of it back quicker. Try to keep your spirits up and have a great Christmas !

I mean sh*t happens I'm old enough to know that, it's just really crappy timing. I was just catching myself back up after having to fully fund my father's funeral. I try to tell myself it could be worse, I should be thankful that it wasn't but honestly pretty hard to see the light on this one. People suck but I'm healthy my little family is healthy and I'm thankful for that. I've been broke and backed into a corner before and I always find a way to make it out. It's always darkest before the dawn. Appreciate the feedback volnation.

This is what doesn’t make sense. Regardless, get the surgery done on UTs dime.

Maybe they’ve secretely put a bionic leg on him and are keeping him under wraps just to unveil him in time to destroy all on comers this Fall. Just a guess.

I understand that a lot of folks are against them entirely but... pay with a credit card. Pay it off each month. Let someone else take the risk.

Very sorry that this happened. Definitely contact the fraud division of your card company. You should be able to recover it all and they might be able to catch who did it.

His heart is definitely in the right place, but if he needs a posse to track down that sorry sucker and take everything from that pathetic individual to make up for the loss and hurt he has created, I’m in.

Great example of why you should use a credit card. Only use a debit card for cash at ATM's at the bank locations where it is checked regularly and active video security is present; or at trusted stores. Never use a debit card at gas pumps. Trying to get restitution after fraud takes more time and ties up the account more than with a credit card.

You should easily be able to dispute any charges and recover all your money. Has happened to me twice in Miami.

Edit: I was using credit card though

always jiggle the card reader. if it's loose, notify the clerk. I've caught two.

That's awful. I got hit a few months ago. I actually looked up the stores that the charges were made at. Got a police report from my local police to take to my bank. Got every penny back even over draft fee.
