I mean, WHO had the expectation that we were gonna somehow overtake UGA in recruiting this weekend?

100% agree with all that. I have been saying that it was going to be tough for the staff to make up too much ground this class. It is depressing that while we are changing four flat tires, UGA and UF are picking up speed and pulling farther away, but that is just what it is at this point.

Pruitt and staff have a long hard job ahead of them. I believe he can do it if we are patient.

Couple years ago there were 25+ something Georgia kids drafted and not one of them played at Georgia. Well thats over now and if they can keep them home which they are thats enough talent to field an nfl offense and defense every year. They dont have to cross the state line.

Is UF "pulling away?" I was thinking we would probably end up with a comparable class by the February signing period.

UF has some flat tires of their own to change.

I think we hired the right guy for this job. If I’m right we will be very competitive with anyone in 2-3 years.

I guess you are right about UF, but I think I just gave Mehlan extra points for getting EJ. I think Pruitt is the right guy also, but I'm not going full pumper like I have before. If he doesn't make the team better, then I'm not making excuses...by better I mean tougher, more disciplined, and more fundamentally sound. That is something you can see on the field, but not necessarily in the record right away.

I agree with that too. No more free passes and excuses for coaches from me. Not that anyone cares what my opinion of the coach is.

But I will not start borrowing trouble either.
