One thing I liked about Butch is that he recruited players from winning programs because he wanted guys who knew what it was like to win big. The problem was that their coach didn't have that experience. Pruitt and his staff are winners and have coached for NC teams.

Could not be happier we are going to multiple pro style O. Makes it much more difficult to prepare a D against as well as typically being better at running the ball.

Was catching up and was about to say the same thing. Been a while since we had coordinators to discuss leaving for HC jobs instead of leaving because, well, they suck at game prep and play calling.

I am all in. This man is a coach and has a pedigree we haven't hired in a very long time if ever. I may be more excited than any other time outside our NC year for the future of UT Football. I truly believe we have hired the next big superstar and being honest he was not even on my radar a couple weeks ago.

I went back and looked at Kirby’s first half class at Georgia and they finished 9th on rivals. I imagine Smart had a better base of a class after Richt but I think Pruitt can get to that 9-12 range

I'd be thrilled with top 15-20. Top 10 would be incredible. At the end of the day, it's about time and relationships. And it doesn't help that we just came off a 4 win season without an SEC win. Pruitt is a good recruiter but next year's class will be his true first.
