Helton was Brohm's OC/QB coach at Western when Brandon Doughty was going nuts.

Honestly, I think it's just a lack of experience. Tee is getting there, but he needs more time. And it doesn't help that he doesn't call every down by design.

Pruitt has five years as a DC at three different major programs. By all accounts he runs his defenses. Even at that, I'd prefer he had more experience, but it's more than Tee.

Tee will get there, but he's just a little too green for most right now.

While they are both unknowns as HC's, Pruitt is seen as a great defensive mind while Tee is not seen as one of the great offensive minds. Fans need to take their orange colored glasses off when wanting a coach. Pruitt seems to be head and shoulders above Tee as a coach. IMO, people wanting Tee was almost as ridiculous as people wanting Gruden.

I bet this has been tough on Gruden's son. He (Gruden) should have shut this down on Mike and Mike instead of the things he said. It was pretty surprising what McDonough said on air Monday night, but it's Gruden's fault for fanning the flames. With that said- I hope Pruitt wins championships here and if Gruden wants to come for a game, he can celebrate with us as a fan.
