I wasnt thinking about recruiting as much as playcalling.

As someone said earlier we need someone with both. But the staff needs to be recruiter heavy. Pruitt will bring the Alabama recruiting philosophy to UT

Was watch Channel 9 here in Chatttown and the sports guy the only snag that could happen is it if UT allows him to coach in playoffs or not. What say ye?

The thing with Lindsey he is looking at HC jobs now which isn't a bad thing but we def don't need a rent a coach right now. We need someone that will be here a few years to build up the program brick by brick..... Too soon?

Napier. But I don't see it he just got bumped up to AHC/OC at ASU but could have a close connection with Pruitt

Might not be staying on since Herm is taking over.

I'm sure they've already worked that out. My guess is he coaches in the playoffs for Bama but builds a staff and recruits for Tennessee in the meantime.

I didnt realize he was looking for a HC job. Definetley moves him a step back
