Scariest thing about Brohm to me is that he’s been at small time programs just like Butch. That scares me. We don’t look, think or act like a power program anymore. I really want someone who has been around big time programs that were winning. That’s why guys like Frost, venables and even Durkin before this season(gonna need another year to judge him) were ahead of guys like brohm and Taggart for me.

I really think we need a guy who knows what a real program looks like.

That’s a good point. Another reason i think Les is great hire no matter who his coordinators are.

AT this point I think it would be a wise hire. Experienced great coach who can rebuild UT back and then hand the HC over to a top HC to carry on and win us a NC.

Yeah man. Bowden graduated from carter after taking them to state twice. ACT got flagged so he went to prep school. Barnes lucked into him. Hired an assistant coach from Tulane who was recruiting him. Barnes saw him and offered. He’s been a starter pretty much his entire career.

Impossible to continue at that rate, but he has the sweetest stroke on the team. Hope CRB and his teammates will take advantage. Selfless player and hard worker.

Needs to shoot more. Too unselfish and passive IMO.

Just say no to Brown and Steele. Understand meeting to pick their brains on good assistants and coordinators, but never as HC's. That would be really dumb and destroy the goodwill Phil is building.

I am still in the Les, Morris, and Venables camp. I don't think we are in it with Brohm. If they pulled back his original offer, there is no trust of UT there for him.

My only fear in this is Phil is going to feel for guys he felt were treated like he was and try to right that wrong. Mack Brown is a bridge too far for me.
