Would y'all rather have Miles as head coach with Tee as OC and Steele as DC

Or Tee as head coach, Steele as DC, and a proven OC?

I think Tee would still come here in that first scenario, even in a lateral move, because he would get the job when Miles retired.

Second option

Les, Tee, and Fulmer would be one heck of a recruiting trio...

Rekin if you’re talking about me for crapping on the Leach hire I apologize. I may have went a little overboard in my criticism of him. He beat both the teams in the PAC12 game last night and that is impressive.

I apologize if you felt like I was taking a dump on you or anyone’s opinions.

All that said Leach is a top 15 coach. I still think he’s a bad fit for here and this conference but I certainly could be wrong. I was excited about him when I thought we were still going to be under a Currie regime. Now with fulmer my hope is we can get the perfect fit and build back our program.

Again apologies to all for being overbearing. I know I can be that way.

I'm not Rekin, but I love the back and forth that we all have on this board.

I finally have a place where we can stay anonymous and have great conversations and get others opinions on everything UT.

We may not all agree with each other but that's the beauty of it, cause you may not think of something the other poster has, and it makes for a well rounded discussion.

So if I have rubbed anyone he wrong way, I apologize. I just love to talk Football.

Good night of living it feels good to have Phillip back out there on the recruiting trail. I have a good feeling that yesterday is the day we turned the corner.

I'd take Cut as HC, Tee as OC/HCIW, and a proven DC.

On Cade
“I’d expect him to call the entire family and since Kevin not only played for him but he was Kevin’s position coach then I think there is a crack in the door. Still long way but the door was nailed shut two nights ago before Phillip got a crowbar to crack it back open.”

Price is as connected to this recruitment as anyone. May be too much to makeup.

First option under a 2-3 year deal that would send Miles off into the sunset happy and THEN hand the reigns to Tee....in the mean-time you have some learning going on behind the scenes and the teachers would be some of the best

Norvell will gather renewed interest in the FF, when Memphis beats UCF today.

I got Memphis winning but has potential to be the best game of the day. Should be a lot of points scored.

Then again every time I say that it's a 13-10 final score...

Mays will come back into the fold if he has confidence that the new coach can win games here on a championship level. Simple as that. If he likes the hire he may come back to the fold. If the hire is from Puxatauny state. I'd say he'll chuckle and move on.

Between the two, I'd rather have Tee as HC with proven coordinators than Les with Tee as a coordinator. Not my first choice, but Tee has more upside recruiting and I think there has to be a reason Les hasn't been hired.

Not popular but I'm over the Tee for HC thing right now. Not that I don't like him. I just think he's not the answer as HC yet.

You said you've never seen me post on here, yet I've been on VN longer then you. Just because you disagree with what I post doesn't make me a troll genius.

Must be mostly in FF. Every post is negative. Thanks for calling me genius. Glad somebody recognizes it.

Tee is a safe choice in that even if he ultimately doesn’t work out, the cupboard will be stocked for the next guy.

I’d like to roll w Tee. Pairing him with Freeze as his OC as someone mentioned earlier would be an awesome combo.

Damn this would be awesome. I would be all aboard this train.

I'm curious about those that have listed those assistants that ascended to the head coaching position and became very successful coaches. How many just assumed control of an established team that they were already a part of versus coming from a different program and building it from scratch.

Tee isn't the HC we need right now. I love the guy but he's not ready.
Wrong. He loves the university as much as any of us. Maybe more. He will give it his all. He knows he has to surround himself with an elite staff and he will. He will recruit at an elite level and he will develop that talent (look at his track record at USC). He will win big
