This new post count policy is strange. The coaching search is causing a new thread everyday.

Also, they are discussing the Fulmer to AD story on 99.7 Super Talk in Nashville.

Would you rather us be led by Currie or Sigmon or maybe worse? The admin wouldn't have signed on to Leach anyway if I had to guess, maybe I'm wrong and he will still be the coach but I would be stunned if Fulmer after all these years would hire Steele knowing how important this is. Who knows what he may have worked out behind the scenes.

Dude I'm more pro Phil than Vicky. Phil will heal the program. I would've loved Leach but he wouldn't survive here. The administration with Currie and Haslam running things would be toxic. People need to calm down and unite behind Phil. It's time to come together and get this thing back. WLH

With a VFL like Fulmer at the helm I have more hope than any time in recent memory. If they handle this right we will get a good coach especially if this is truly a "changing of the guard" away from the Haslam empire.

Not sure how I feel about this whole situation. Fulmer back stabbed Coach Johnny Majors to get the HC job. And now SI is reporting that he has done the same with Currie. However, Currie engineered the firing of Fulmer and now Fulmer has gotten payback. Quite honestly, I'm not sure I want either at this point. These clowns playing politics with our school and football program is a very bad sign. Davenport may have gotten herself into a very bad situation. Everyone seems to think that Currie is the only one in Haslem's pocket. Don't believe that Fulmer is an honest broker in this whole mess.

Why are we so happy about this? The Haslams still run this place and we missed out on a good coach because of the ridiculous behind the scenes politics. Hell, last I heard Fulmer was one of the ones that blew up the Leach hire.

Props to Bassmaster! He was screaming fire Jones first and when Currie failed to act he started fire Currie. He’s been right the whole damn time!

Hey Bass, who’s the coach gonna be?
