Carson Beck Miami +1000

Complete crap. Dude is trailing behind Brazzel in almost every category and in an offense that is less than and yet #2? Only because he’s a nut.

Here's a bit of great news...

Heard - Junior
Sham - RS So
Pendleton - RS So
Moe - RS Jr
Perry - RS Fr

Sanders - FR
Moore - FR
Satterwhite - RS-FR
Warren - RS-FR
Ginther - RS-FR
Anderson - RS-FR
Grant - RS-JR

You could return the entire OL roster next season....talk about a dream situation!
I don't see Heard staying...that young man is playing himself into a high draft pick so far this year.

If Vols keep winning you'll see Joey replace Ty for Heisman hype...

It's all in front of us, Georgia game they think was a fluke cause we didn't roll Miss State.

Based on what I've seen thus far, Miss State is going to be a tough team for teams to beat. They however got a rough schedule, at A&M, vs Texas, vs Georgia, at Mizzou vs Ole Miss but if they can find a way to protect their QB better and keep the running game going like they have been might upset a few teams.

posting comments from MSU board about the crowd...

Way too many TN fans at that game

Not sure how that happens, but sickening to see. Either our fans or our admin need to do better - the majority of the west side was TN fans. Heupel even thanked their fans for the environment

Yeah pretty crazy to see

ridiculous and pathetic

Yep. In section 20 tonight it was an away game for me and my crew.

My thought is the tickets going to $190 priced out some of our sidewalk fans, but was a reasonable price for a traveling TN fan.

Surprised they didn’t checkerboard the stands

Tennessee has always traveled like that. Looked the same in their playoff game at Ohio State last year

But why were that many tickets available to them? Surely we didn’t give them that many, like what would have happened in the playoffs. It’s because we had a ton of fans sell their tickets

Because they bought them up and State fans didn’t

Because they were there to be bought

Was mostly orange around me too. Embarrassing that state was 4-0 and our fans didn’t buy those tickets up. Unacceptable

Was most of the lower east side. Visitor section almost all the way to the band. West side wasn’t really different from any other home game.

Doesn't help that it was a white out. In retrospect probably not a good idea to whiteout against a team wearing orange. Georgia would have been better aesthetically.

Those tickets weren’t bought up by Tennessee fans this week. Many were bought in the offseason

UT fans likely bought a lot of these tickets before the season began and other bought them up this week.

Our stadium has too many seats. It’s really simple. 60k there and 10k at least were in orange.

10k is not giving them enough credit

East side of the stadium was almost all orange. Embarrassing.

Fan bases like UT and bama buy up away game tickets whenever tickets become available. For a lot of these fans it’s the only way to see their teams play in person. I know of bama fans who buy season tickets to other schools just so they can see their team play in person because they can’t get season tickets due to waiting lists.

In overtime it was and away game so loud on that end of the field

Some of them bought the tickets early but there were thousands left to buy after the arizona state win and our fans let them buy the rest and take over half the stadium even after Lebby showed we had a team worth supporting. We do need to reduce capacity, but even so yesterday was unacceptable from our fans.

Tennessee will always travel well. I do think we need fans to jump on tickets earlier though

Had two vols tell me that’s one of the best atmospheres they’ve ever seen Said way better than Arkansas. They went to Fayetteville last year

BTW: A large amount of these tickets were bought by UT fans through State's ticket office because season tickets weren't sold.

From what I’m told about the faculty tickets is they raised the price of them and the donation, essentially to de-incentivize faculty from buying tickets.

This part worked, as more faculty tickets went unsold this year, the issue is they weren’t able to sell them to regular season tickets holders so they sold them as single game and UT fans bought them up.

Yeah, I think this highlights how weird grades are... Hood had a pick 6 and 2 TFLs and 6 total tackles, Boo had 0 tackles and just 1 pass deflection

In other words 1. you're talking about LAST game when Boo had a high grade against UAB OR 2. the grading you're talking about is absolute sh!t
Yet I also said in my comment directly after about people who watch ball and film break down completely ruin your beliefs. We ran more cover two Saturday that we did all year and they spoke on how well Boo did with his assignments. Sorry you are mad at him for no reason and think that since he played likely 25% of the snaps that hood did that he is just awful. It’s just not the case. Also, I bet you think the safeties were awful (I did), but upon film review they actually played pretty decently other than missing some tackles which will happen.

I really feel it's time to start Spillman over Telander. Spillman is quicker, faster, and more violent at point of attack. I love Telander, but he should provide depth with the amount of young talent in the room. Farooq is a big hitter, but young and not great against the pass (like Jakobe Thomas last year). We have not had an elite ball hawk safety since Eric Berry. We really haven't had anyone even close. McCullough has been our best since EB. We have elite db's and star position players. Too bad one couldn't take the spot from Turrentine.
Agreed on Spillman. Unfortunately, we only really have Farooq and Turrentine right now. Beasley is showing he needs a lot more time. Damn you Jakobe!

I do think Boo is playing himself back into a starting role... But to claim he's better than Hood is absurd.

Hood & Farooq are imo the 2 best secondary guys we've got right now...Redmond getting that baptism by fire and it'll be good for him long term.

Ideally we get McCoy back and he's 100% and Boo beats out McMurray or Turrentine to start at S or STAR.
Who in the world said boo is better than hood? Crazy statement and I’d love to know because I haven’t seen that.

NegaDave on Basilio just now: He’s convinced we get Aguilar back for 2026 and that the coaches are fine with that even if it causes Merk and GMac to leave. Basically Brandon will be 2nd string. It’s an interesting situation to consider.
I can understand Merk leaving, but not GMac.

Love Heup but he has to take a class on clock management. Running 6 plays in 1:23 with 3 TOs and the clock stopping on 1st downs and you run out of time is mind-boggling.

Packers last night ran 6 plays in 42 seconds before kicking the game tying FG.
I'm pretty sure I remember him doing freaking awesome times management several times over the years..but that damn recency bias!!

Something was going on that caused everything to get discombobulated...pretty sure Heup didn't get stoopit overnight.
