Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I understand what he was doing. I just don’t agree with the strategy. I was there and went back and watched the replay last night. Bishop got tackled at 1:18 on first down. We didn’t snap it again until 0:45 and staring at the sidelines for seconds. We could have snapped it but didn’t because he did not want to give it back to them. I think they had TO’s left.

But we were going to move the ball, so I think we should have snapped with a minute left and kept going.
I get it as well, which is why running on 1st down to get the clock started makes sense. Waiting 34 seconds in between the 2nd snap is ridiculous. Having to throw a hail mary on 2nd down bc you run out of time is inexcusable. So glad we can discuss this after a WIN tho.

It really is a giant crock that their fans only put 40-50k in their stadium but are allowed to bring and ring 2 bells at once

It's not even hard

Screaming for four quarters and still bringing it at the end is admirable

Clanging a bell is horse crap
Well the college is basically a cow pasture so..

Anyone think tua is his own worst enemy with his concussions? It’s like he try’s to slide as late as possible, as if to draw the flag. Not like he was anywhere close to the 1st down there. Linebacker is already at a 30 degree angle. I know it’s technically one but it just seems way to coincidental how many concussions he’s gotten.

For what it’s worth, seen Mahomes do it too.

So the original OL they wanted…

LT - Heard
LG - Moe
C - Sam
RG - Perry
RT - Sanders

Wonder if they move to that for Arkansas or just leave Moe at RG & plug Sanders in at RT with Perry as backup?
I would assume they go back to the original starting oline with Perry at RG. Got 2 weeks to work any kinks out.

For Arkansas we potentially could see what our team is/can be going forward.

We could see our originally starting five OL all together for the first time.

We could see our starting DL and backups finally all playing together and having depth.

We could see our starting DB group (except Gibson but hood is better) finally all play together.

It could be an exciting game and show us what our true potential is this season.

Are we a 9-3 or an 11–1 team?
As long as you don't change anything up and jinx us by not freaking out at every assistant coach and young player throughout the game thread, I think we're good.
