tough matches but I really like Cameron Youngs game. Dude is a player. His downfall is he really goes bad on himself sometimes. He is good though

As someone who played in college, I disagree that all snaps are earned. Coaches have favorites. Coaches do lean more toward older players many times even when others are better or more talented. Happens all the time. I do agree that it may be his own fault and not doing what he should. And that could be the case.

Thats fair and I agree. I've seen it. But I also saw it mostly with bad teams with poor coaching I was on. But sometimes you take the risk to win.

But, if you've got a guy who's doing everything right and dedicated to the team and spent all summer getting better and working and he's in the right place at the right time but he's not going to make a game-changing play THEN you've got a guy who has demonstrated the definition of a bad teammate and he took the summer off, broke team rules, has been late to meetings, etc etc BUT he can make a game-changing play... most coaches will reward the trustworthy team player.

You put Boo in if you really need to turn the game. You put him in on special teams to make a play. You let him back up your team players who've earned it.

When he's corrected his behavior and has earned the start and majority of snaps then I'm all for him but I think what we are seeing is that other guys deserve those snaps.

Tyson and Walmart and jb hunt are notoriously stingy with NIL. Sure the executives could use their own money, but the company money doesn't often make it to the NIL funds according to the locals.

John Tyson ponying up for Calipari was huge news because it doesn't happen often that they get involved in athletics. Or so the local rumor mill goes.

Geography still matters some. NIL with good local players help. Arkansas is not a talent rich state. Have to compete with all the Texas schools.

5 hours or less from Dallas, STL, Kansas City, OKC, and Memphis. Plenty of talent in their radius.

A really good coach could do well, but I think NIL money is holding them back. Probably a requirement of the new coach is recruiting NIL money lol

I've seen enough years of playing terrible on the road that it's a pretty rational fear....we looked horrific and it wasn't even all that hostile.

I still think there's something Heupel needs to change in the road game routine.

I mean think about this way. Our offense scored 41 on the road and we basically had 2 TD’s taken off the board. We are probably going to be able to keep ourselves in any game on the road bc of the offense. Almost impossible for this team to get blown out.
