Yes & I also noticed when they showed their fans ringing their bells that none of them were yelling! I don't have any noisemakers at home games, but I clap and yell as loud as I can. They could be a lot louder if they put their heart in it!One thing I noticed was those cowbells went silent once the center was over the ball, and they were not loud at all without them.
The zero tolerance rules around fighting from the last 30 years have two consequences, both found in this video:Opposite of a glass jaw or more likely these kids hit like kids who crawl and bark like little puppy furries.
I think it might be a measure too of how much orange was in the stadium. But it is not a very large stadium. The only reason they make much noise is those infernal cowbells.Yes & I also noticed when they showed their fans ringing their bells that none of them were yelling! I was actually going to say this. Depends on the context of the game, but would you rather play a guy who's consistent but won't make or give up a game-changing play? Or play a guy who can make or give up a game-changing play? Different strokes for different folks, but most coaches are going with a guy who won't change the game but is always in the right place to make the play.I hear this parroted a decent amount. Obviously the goal is for the more athletic players to grasp the mental aspects and not have bursts in alignment and run fits. But if the option is one or the other; more athletic with busts is not necessarily the best option. Giving up 5 yards multiple times means more plays being run. That means more opportunities for negative yardage plays, offensive penalties, strip sacks, etc. Busts that give up 50 yard plays is unrecoverable.
If I knew I wouldn’t get arrested, I would decked dude for that… you just don’t do that. The zero tolerance rules around fighting from the last 30 years have two consequences, both found in this video:
1. Kids not knowing how to fight
2. Kids having absolutely zero idea what constitutes shameful cowardly acts related to fighting, like throwing little girl punches to the back of someone's head while they are fighting someone else.
Yeah but who do those teams lose to? Wicked easy schedules. It is good that Vandy and Mizzou play each other. I think this year is one of the most interesting years bc of the schedules and the parity in the league.Mizzou, Vandy, Oklahoma, Ole Miss are pretenders.
A&M has a favorable schedule, Bama will likely be in the championship game.
Can we afford a lose to Alabama is the real question here in that scenario.
My 4 SEC teams in the playoffs currently are Bama, Georgia, A&M & Tennessee.
