Earlier this week Basilio shared info about SEC scheduling. The league office tries to grant one special request for each school regarding their schedules. UGA and Alabama both requested a bye week before their game. Tennessee requested that the Florida game occur late in the season.

I wonder what we’ll request for next year.

That David Smith is not allowed to call any of our games ever, ever again.

Serious question. If we had made that kick against Georgia would we be the talk of College football. I’m surprised no analyst has brought up the offseason and how Hepuel has done a damn good job of keeping the boat full steam.

We’re also a Brazzell-decides-not-to-go-hero-mode-on-4th-down play away from 0-2 with a pretty not-good loss against an unranked team. Slim margins this year in this league.

And yet neither have been even thought about when it comes to the Heisman. But we endured two weeks of Gunner Stockton Heisman talk post TN game.

drops and refs took about 17-21 points away from us (missed FG)... these same situations ended up giving msst about 10-14...

the crew in gumpville is gonna be bad. We've GOT to beat the gumps and the gumps wearing stripes.

I'm not worried about our offense... we just had a really bad day, were out of sync, but found a way to finish. Proud of them.

I am worried about our defense... really worried...

Seriously guys--- we play another defensive game like that against bama, oky, and Candy, we will lose every single one of them... Especially bama and Candy...

This off week needs to be 90% fixing the defense, and 10% WR's/RB's catching passes.... PERIOD.

Looking at it repeatedly, it struck me that the defender lost his balance when Brazzell swiped his arm down to remove the defender’s hand that was pushing against Brazzell if that makes sense. Was as bad of an Opi as I can ever recall seeing.

That's what happened, but from far far away, the back judge might have thought it was a push. He didnt have the proper angle to be making that call.

Something not being discussed, Lebby knew how to slow down our offense. Part of why we didn't have a great day running the ball. He picked his poison and had there been a bit less drops probably would've been a bigger win. But first road game that sh*t happens.

And Coleman Hutzler also needs some more credit as a good DC.

I'm really hoping the schedule for Bama works in our favor, but after winning at Georgia I'm sure they'll jump us in the polls and we'll stay behind Georgia.

Bama is playing Vandy then going to Missouri and then hosting us with a trip to South Carolina the next week. They're likely going to lose at least 1 of these next 4 I just want it to be us.

While the rush defense was concerning, it’s a little unfair yesterday when the defense had so many short fields. They stop MSU with a sack on the first series, and then Boo fumbles. I was reminded by another fan that MSU ran on us last year. Their pass game is not quite like Heupel’s because they do almost nothing vertically.

Man our OL did not have a great game. Understandable, probably hard to communicate with those d*mn bells. I don’t know enough football to see what they were doing defensively but on that drive alone got beat multiple times. Moe with a terrible miss on the scramble to Staley.

The run game was not up to where it had been previously but that was probably what MSU was taking away with their defensive scheme. The pass protection was actually pretty good. I was pretty pleased with how well the pocket held up and how well Joey stands in the pocket and waits for routes to open up without getting happy feet. I know on one sack that Lewis just missed his block but that one was not on the oline.
