Not our best game. D brought it when we needed it most. A lot of positives from this game. Several negatives in this game. We survived on the road in the SEC in an environment that was relentless the entire game. And that Miss St running back was one tough son of a gun to tackle. Shew.

I’m done with him. It took him more than a half to adjust to see they were gonna keep running the ball until we adjusted and stopped it. Finally started attacking the LOS and bringing Turrentine up for run support.

They gave up net 20 points to an offense that averages 40.

Defensive scoring was huge today, because offense was not converting TDs as much as usual (blame the zebras for 1 of those being called back...CB should be pissed)

Agreed and I have been critical of the defense but they stepped up today. Especially late game. Get Hobbs and McCoy back and they should improve. Safety position is biggest concern in my opinion. Any win on the road in the SEC is good.

Miss State is a good team. They'll be hard for anyone to beat if they play that hard every game.
