You just have to remind yourself that the voters don’t pay attention or are just ignorant. Fans would be better voters.

I think this is by design. Because the goal of the AP poll is to prompt discussion. Disagreement counts as discussion. Gives the poll more legitimacy than it deserves IMO. I just ignore them all unitl the one that matters.

It's way worse. Clearly some of these voters are having their votes bought. It's undeniable when you see the way some of them vote. And they are obstinate when confronted.
