Heupel obviously felt Nico could be "fixed". If not, he would have ditched him after the season and went after a portal QB sooner. When Nico left, none of the QBs we reached out to wanted to enter the portal. So our choices were Aguilar or Angeli, who of course went to Syracuse.

Talked about this with McGill not too long ago. Heupel sees physical talent and believes in himself to mold it. That's why Milton and Nico were the guys he picked. Both are tremendously gifted physically. But the key to a successful Heupel QB is between the ears. Hooker knew how to process the field, read the defense, and check down. Aguilar seems similar. Hopefully Brandon has it between the ears, too.

I am nervous about bama, OK, and in Gainesville but I think we can win those games
MSU, vandy, are Kansas and Uk can beat us but we should win those games handily on paper IMO bc I think we can name our score in those games

Probably crazy thinking that but I honestly didn’t expect much this year after the off season ordeals
but this team is damn fun to watch on offense

I think with our new offensive play book and playing fast it’s gonna be hard to stop us if we wanna go

Ton of younger players getting valuable playing time though and hopefully they improve game by game

I also think our offense might be too good for anyone not named UGA.

There's certainly a path where you get Hobbs, Moi, McCoy back and it makes a massive difference.

Hobbs and Moi will allow Garner to rotate the way he wants, which means fresh bodies, able to strain harder and who knows how good Moi and Hobbs are. Could be total game wreckers. Then you have perhaps the best corner in the country back and will be able to rotate there as well.

If we have to endure the injury bug, I’m glad it hit early instead of late.

Get the young guys experience.
Have new leaders emerge.
Let injured guys come back when ready.

IMO Hobbs is a 1st rd talent, Moi is pretty good as well so of course it’ll be beneficial for those two to return. Linebacker play is holding us up big time. Watching Miami linebackers against UF made me so jealous. Carter is overrated to me, but he’s the best of the bunch. I honestly thought Spillman would be better but he’s still got a lot of football in front of him. I wanted Telander to be Brian Cushing so bad, but he’s not. I have no idea how the hell does Ben Bolton play meaningful snaps. I thought #12 was a DB until I looked him up, the freshmen are tiny currently. We have no natural ‘backers who can shoot a gap and destroy a running back. That’s got to change and fast.

Also, I think Florida can knock off Texas next week. If the defense plays like they did today they have a shot. Texas isn’t good.

I’ll be honest, I do feel bad for Cade Klubnik. He had a chance at being a day 2 draft pick last year and decided to come back this season when he really didnt need, and now his team is 1-3 and he’s struggled this year and at this rate would be lucky to be a day 3 pick
