We got some major holes and we are playing several teams just as talented, although with that talent distributed differently around the positions, with different strengths and weaknesses..and we have one team to play that has a 30+% BCR advantage of more roster talent than ours, and it is on the road with officials that will screw us over and over and over, so we don't just have to beat Bama..we have to beat them so badly...in Tuscaloosa..that the officials cannot screw us over, unlike the UGA game...for those that scoff at that, I have two numbers for you 10-5...at Neyland...not one single offensive holding called on them despite several egregious examples right in front of an official, but we had at least one.

We definitely could win out, but with this paper thin defense, it is not likely. I realize we have injured players that will strengthen us when they come back, but we need McCoy back on the field in the worst way...and nobody knows if he will even be back on the field.

In essence there are several teams that can stop us from doing that...so I don't really agree with that second part of your statement.

Overrated. It is funny how preseason rankings and the media disrespected Heup and UT just because we had a new QB, but for other teams a new QB was seen as an upgrade. All Heup does is win and adjust his offense to fit the quarterback. Heup is a top 10 head coach, yet he still gets disrespected.

As we keep upgrading the roster from recruiting and the portal, we will be a very elite team. Heupel is the right coach even though we had to go through 3 bums to get to him.

So I don't know where Mizzou really stands. Have they really played anyone? USCe has lost to the teams they've played with a pulse.

Saw a Florida writer suggest this week he can't be benched due to NIL agreements. He wasn't confirming it, but suggesting it.
