Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

It's crazy how much talent this Miami d has.

I thought our D would be talented. All we heard about was how good they were, how recruiting got better. Sigh. We will have to make some big steps

Well we had great depth last year, and developed a lot of younger and 2nd string guys

Unfortunately other teams noticed and offered starting spots/money instead of a role in rotation

You enjoy boring waste of time games?
Maybe it's just me, but I HIGHLY enjoy watching Tennessee score touchdowns...I don't care if it's the water boys or managers doing it. I like watching the Vols blow people out...don't care if it's the University of Banana Rama or Bama.

You act like you're unaware key guys on the DL and our starting CBs have been injured and not playing.

Dont feel the same, I enjoy seeing the Vols win close entertaining contests against highly competitive opponents.

It definitely feels like we heavily rotate guys on defense this season. Hopefully it pays off on the back end of the schedule. I also hope it’s like basketball where you start shortening the rotation later in the year when needed to keep the best players out there.

questionable whether that was a slide by Mizzou QB, feet never went to the ground before defender came in and caused the targeting by keeping his head up
