Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Does it always rain in Miami? Every Miami game I've watched this season its raining.
It rains a lot in the evening in Florida during the summer months. Sometimes it’ll be weeks of consistent showers, and then itll turn around and be dry af with no rain at all for weeks. I live in the panhandle I don’t think we’ve had a drop of rain for 4 weeks, but It felt like all of June and july there was a pop up thunderstorm everyday

I’d love to see Merklinger succeed here but I just don’t see it with him, unfortunately. Offense looks out of sync when he’s in there. And yes, I know it’s with backups but I don’t see him as QB1 here ever.
He gives me Ñam level flashbacks with Nico. First read ain’t there, he panics more than panic attack dude in the KY game.

Agree. You’ve got to be able to process things and react very quickly for this offense to run the way it’s meant to be run. Merklinger just doesn’t seem to have what it takes.

We are going super deep on the depth chart and there is much gnashing of teeth about some bust. We are up by 39 and it could be 60 if coach wanted. Member when previous coaches struggled to win these games? I member. On another note we must keep Joey healthy or we are in trouble.
Heup said we played 14 or 17 true freshmen in the first half. We took the foot off the gas real early.

Just made it home from the game. Took Mom, Dad and my 6 year old girl today. Was fun for the first quarter but Lordy it was freaking HOT. I was having to pour water on my 6 year olds head so she didn’t pop. Left at halftime and felt so bad leaving but we just couldn’t do it y’all. I consider the game to have been over before the 2nd quarter ended anyhow.

On TV it looked like about 50% of the other fans had the same idea.
