Just made it home from the game. Took Mom, Dad and my 6 year old girl today. Was fun for the first quarter but Lordy it was freaking HOT. I was having to pour water on my 6 year olds head so she didn’t pop. Left at halftime and felt so bad leaving but we just couldn’t do it y’all. I consider the game to have been over before the 2nd quarter ended anyhow.

Jermod may be back by then. Regardless mateer is more of a runner than a QB so i dont know how much of a difference jermod would make.

That's a tough deal. . . go from having, arguably, the best team of all time to going 10 years without a ranked win.

Yup. There were a lot of changes to the structure of college football, non qualifiers, conf realignment etc that really disrupted Nebraska's model for success. And they've never recovered.. Because nobody really looks at Lincoln, NE as a destination... So I think this is always what Nebraska was... Without the built in advantages they used to enjoy.
