Went to the F100 Supernationals this morning. Holy crap, those guys pump unbelievable amounts of dollars into their trucks.

What's cool, though, is seeing someone who has a rusty old truck with not much work done that looks/sounds as good as the $500k trucks.

This one dude has an old truck lowered, tubbed out, complete roll cage, racing seat, aluminum dashboard, twin turbos  with a whipple, chopped top, etc with 1500hp that is street legal. He has it sanded down to metal with a clear coat over the bare metal. You can hear that thing from, literally, a mile away.

Guy used to take care of our boat raced those. Could tune a small block blind folded. Ask him anything maritime, and he was clueless. Good reason boat was always broken down.
