Exactly. I would have given my pinky finger to win Saturday but at least we look really good even in a loss. There are games to be played and we have a good chance to win all of them. How many times in the last 15 years have we been able to say that? I'm very optimistic about the rest of our schedule.

From a coaching perspective, that game was played perfectly right. It is a painful lesson for a coach to learn that players have to make plays no matter how well it is schemed up.

You can criticize decisions made in every game in the history of football by every coach in the history of football...every single thing that don't work for whatever reason becomes troll...I don't get the need to pile on with the trolls.

I hate losing as much as you or anybody else...we got a coach that has made losing a pretty rare thing.

This a thousand times ! When a play doesn't work it's not always a bad play but poor execution. And sometimes a great play by the defense. But again no coach is perfect.

I gotta $100 bucks that says the ones criticizing Max Gilbert for missing the FG couldn't take their ass on the field and make the FG either...

Blue Ridge Parkway from Cherokee to Asheville is pretty, plenty of pull offs with trails. I am just not sure how much of it is open,

That was the original plan...take Blue Ridge from Cherokee and head north...but also couldn't find good info saying how open it was. But Newfound Gap Road is supposed to be open and will take us from Gatlinburg over to Cherokee so should be a nice drive itself.

Haywood Smokehouse is legit. I go every time I'm in the area.

What I kept seeing looking at reviews and such.


Plan right now is likely check out Oconaluftee Indian Village & probably the Museum of the Cherokee People...eat some NC BBQ then head to Casino.

And it's not just 18-22 year olds that make bad decisions on a play . Just like the interception that happened when the wide receiver slipped down. That was a good pass in a tight spot that would have been a really good play except the receiver didn't get there.

The team, players, are preparing for the next game in their mind. The coaching staff is looking at the next four games. Players play the next play, coaches play and plan for the grand scheme.

Yeah it was me. There was another poster a while back too. Did the 72 hour fast. Felt like death the last day but I made it. Had electrolytes but hated the taste of them by the last day. Excellent reset on the body. Complete gut reset and got rid of a lot of inflammation. Gonna do another one after Christmas.

Weight loss, meh. You want to eat like a lunatic for the next few days so it’s hard to control weight, but that wasn’t my purpose anyway. If weight loss is your goal, count calories with intermittent fasting.
