Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Willy doesn't realize how coming from a well off family gives you 75% multiplication factor. On a 10 scale here's how it works:
3 x 1.75 =5.25
4 x 1.75 = 7.00
5 x 1.75 = 8.75
6 and above are automatic 10's

I know this because at my school a kid's family won the lottery and he instantly became "so Hot".

We also had a football player that drove a Corvette in HS, dumbest person I have ever met. He could barely read but his family had money, so the ladies loved him. He cheated on a test and made a 5/100.

I know a MIT graduate when I see one😭🤣🤣🤣 typical high school days bruv not surprised at all. I’ve seen it myself first hand similar situation …

I hope you pull up in a Lamborghini at the next high school reunion🫡

I think I'd rather see a monster blitz on 3rd down instead of a zone that gives up basically everything over 3rd & 5.
Depends on who you are facing, an all out blitz vs Tom Brady or Joe Montana is suicide. Sometimes it is better to drop back in coverage and take your chances.

You can't say David Sanders is the biggest disappointment. However, if you want to say the medical staff then sure. I think for me it's still either the linebackers or the medical staff.

I still contend that we did everything right. We played it right. Just kick a damn field goal. And I appreciate that the kid manned up and said he didn't do his job. We gonna be aight.
Exactly and it's not like it's the first FG Gilbert has ever missed, **** happens.. the kid will be just fine and redeem himself ...

Guess this means to buckle up for the year with injuries if the medical staff sucks. Can we double check and make sure they are not former Bama or Georgia grads, and are trying to sabotage our season?

Planning a day drive to Cherokee NC... anything I need to make sure to do?

Driving route will be Newfound Gap Road
Cherokee is ok, itself. Waynesville has a couple great eateries, and breweries. Nice, quaint downtown. Same for Sylva.

Cullowhee may be the most beautiful view in US.

Trout stream right throigh middle of Waynesville.

If you have time and want good food, Waynesville Inn and Golf Club. Make sure and head to dispensary first😆

Co workers all wanted to gamble, and drink. I dont partake of that. Chucked dueces, and did the aforementioned.

What a beautiful place.

Going to Waynesville Sunday morning to do some trout fishing... My son asked me to go...

I keep seeing folks say this...but where? 2025 Football Coaches - University of Texas Athletics
He's not listed on their staff anywhere...

Far as I know he's still working as a Special Assistant to the Commissioner for Football Relations for the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Cutcliffe Named Special Assistant to Commissioner - Southeastern Conference
He’s been a senior offensive analyst for Texas since ‘22. Sark hired him and it’s what is believed to have been the hire that got Arch.

Man what were we thinking kicking the field goal here?

1. Why is the ball on the left hash with a right footed kicker?

2. We had 3 timeouts left and 7 seconds left, plenty of time for ja to take the snap and get to the middle of the field and take the knee and timeout so that we could kick the gw fg with the ball centered. Also enough time to hand it off one more time too, either one as long as the run was to the middle of the field

This and Banks leaving Ty Redmond on an island the entire game, including on a potential game sealing 4th and 6, were huge coaching blunders that cost us the game

It is up to the kicker's preference where they put the ball. Kickers with a tendency to push want it on the right hash.

Please prove this claim since he's not listed on Texas' website in that way at all and was hired to the SEC in '23, as I shared with my links.

I can only find an article that they were in talks to hire him...nothing showing it ever actually happened: Report: Texas in talks to hire former Duke coach David Cutcliffe as an analyst
