My only objection to that is then uga would have about 7 seconds left after the kick, plenty of time to run one or 2 more plays depending on the kick return

This and Banks leaving Ty Redmond on an island the entire game, including on a potential game sealing 4th and 6, were huge coaching blunders that cost us the game

This game never should have come down to a FG. We had them on the ropes with the FF and were only up 8. Next drive: 3 straight run plays. That’s when we lost the game. We played not to lose way too early, and it killed all momentum we had. But shoulda, coulda, woulda. Time to move on, learn, and grow from it.

Are you really trying to tell me that having McCoy and Gibson out there instead of a 3* TF project wouldn't have made a huge difference?...and that wasn't the position group blah blah blah crap...they torched that kid the whole damn game...to the tune of a 100+ yards and 6 of 7 targets..Come on man, football ain't that hard to f'n understand and I've been watching and learning it for 40+ freaking years..very hypocritical of you to tell me to get off my high horse when you talk like your the Lord High King of Foosball talking to a mere peasant.

Also you don't think have Moi and Hobbs would have made a big difference?...I'm pretty damn sure they don't run it down our throat 13 of 14 plays on that 3rd quarter drive with those two playing.

We can end this or keep on going...whatever. If you don't like me or what I say then hit that little button...I've never had a problem with you except for this and it rubbed me the wrong way because I am sick of the all the freakin stupid VN dip💩s pissing on the coach that has dug us out of football hell and actually gave us a chance to win these games. I'm not saying you are one of them.

Also...as far as a championships goes, I've only seen one in the 57 years I've been on this earth...it was great and like to do it again, but what I REALLY REALLY REALLY want is for us to not suck donkey &** again...that was 15 years of hellish misery and I swore if we ever got a good coach that would make us truly competitive again, that I would never 💩 on him...and I'm not going to.

Heupel has gone far above and beyond just being competitive...he has made us legitimate contenders twice already...despite still being extremely short handed compared to the 80+% BCR crowd.

OL dude makes the block that he was supposed to make on one of those 3 runs and we wouldn't be bitching about those 3 runs, the play was there but it wasn't executed and so we bitch at the coach.

And if OL dude doesn't false start on that last drive...I'm pretty sure we win that game and wouldn't be in here bitching about our coach that got us in position to win.


I understand both povs to a degree.

Our run game was 💩 pretty much all night. There was zero reason for three straight runs other than conservative play calling to run out the clock. Which I can totally get behind when we’re not only up by 8 against UGA.

I get your point and I agree with you, but you have to admit that drive killed our momentum and was a head scratcher compared to everything else we’d been calling all night.

I hadn't really focused on the whiffed block until Eric Cain pointed it out...the freaking play was there and would have been a good gainer. It was a good play call...period.

So that’s one play. What about the other two? I’m a Heupel man through and through. I cast more blame on Banks than I do Heupel for the play calling and the loss. But that said, I still blame Heupel for that drive killer. You can blame and critique a man and still support him. One game doesn’t define a legacy. He’ll redeem himself.
