I have not seen anywhere that he isnt engaged or doing anything but being hurt. In fact he had a photo taken with an OL recruit holding up VFL sign.

I agree. If he keeps playing like this and we go 10-2 or 11-1 he may be the favorite to win it.

I don't care about the Heisman after our history with it, but. . . if he's the leader at the end of the year, we're likely hosting a playoff game at the very least. . .

It's pretty amazing what Heupel continues to do here.

Yup. I think the one thing that every team will struggle with, going forward due to the transfer portal and nil, is really quality depth. So managing that is going to be key. And those that get good at it will have leg up.

And I think that's really the only thing we haven't quite mastered yet.

But yeah..I think it's certainly acceptable to think we're capable of top 12 more times than not. And who knows.. Keep doing that we may screw around and win one.

Not sure if we could be a "lot" better than 2022, but better is possible.

I mean, people don't do to UGA what we did and it was game 3 with guys that have barely played together. I'm having a hard time seeing how some of these teams are going to stop our offense. Oklahoma has the only defense that you can say is maybe better than UGA's.

The jury is out on the defense, but I think our offense, barring injuries, was the worst it will be all year against UGA. That's crazy to think. I sure hope the defense against UGA was as bad as it ever will be this year too. . .

And you can make the argument that Oklahoma hasn’t faced an offense that would test any defense. Might not be as tall of a task as we think. Heck, all the experts thought UGA’s defense would smother us.

4000s of years I heard how Heupel hasn't scored more than 17 vs UGA, so they wouldn't this year either. I am gonna believe UGA has an elite defense and we have the country's best offense until proven otherwise.

I’d argue Georgia’s is better. Oklahoma’s defense is decent but competition and a Freshman qb has it a little inflated. Let’s see where they are here after a few more weeks. Lane will provide the blueprint the week before us. They also have to come to us. I’m less worried about that game than UGA. I don’t think Mateer is as good as Stockton.
