That's not what I read on the game thread. I was told we have a bunch of sissy babies who can't handle the heat and coaches who are just coasting on direct deposit.

About 28.8% of game thread posters told me the game was over in the 3rd qtr,

If we don’t make the playoffs I’ll be severely disappointed now. Knowing we let this go. If we do though, this game doesn’t matter in the grand scheme of things.

Not to make others worry, but I’ve heard some with injuries may not come back and they are just not going to share that. So don’t think some may be back and help later on.

I won’t say anything else though.

I’m guessing Gibson for sure. Is Sanders worse than they are letting on? Please tell me it’s not Moi and Hobbs? And please tell me McCoy isn’t sitting out for the draft?

I think today was probably great for recruiting. Great environment, lots of explosive plays, etc.

These only go bad if you get blown out, etc

Yes, I mean none of those 5 and 4 stars were at the Florida LSU game. They were in Knoxville. And only fans care about losses. It doesn't affect a recruit's visit like fans think it might. The environment alone will land us multiple commits across multiple sports. Football being healthy is good for everyone.

McCoy I’m not so sure we see along with Gibson. My guess is no on Gibson. I heard before the season that McCoy likely wouldn’t play and train for draft. So we shall see on him.

I haven’t heard on Sanders and Moi and honestly haven’t asked.

Me and dad just got home. Tough L for my first game at Neyland, but it was still the most fun I’ve ever had as a Vol fan.

I know we lost and pretty much beat ourselves, but tonight showed me this team is not one you can count out. Most pundits predicted 7–5 or 8–4. I don’t think I need to tell you this, but there’s not a game left on the schedule that should be intimidating to this team.

There’s a very strong case that we’re looking at 10+ wins this year and a second playoff berth. That passing attack was freaking lethal.

If this OL keeps playing like this and we get Hobbs and Moi back we are going to be an absolute juggernaut. And Redmond will get better with more big game raps. 100%.

It doesn’t really matter what they allow if they lose. Each game stands on its own. Tim Banks won games for us in 2023 and 2024. Not interested in more discussion.

Exactly. Why is Bolton and another third string player in the game in the fourth quarter? Why are we still subbing all the time on defense in the fourth? It’s minutes left, suck it up starters and get the win. Why is Turrentine still starting after years and years of being average at best and exposed against good teams? Your kicker looks terrified and shook so let’s rush him to kick. Use a damn timeout and calm him and give him confidence. Just so many things… We had loads of depth last year to rotate all the time and that makes it fine. We don’t have that this year and can’t rotate mid level linebackers in a fourth quarter game Against UGA. I’m afraid Banks has looked good because of elite DL talent the last couple of years and getting a first round corner from OSU. He doesn’t seem to do more with less and actually looks pretty bad without top level talent. I should have known we would give up a lot after Syracuse but thought maybe it was first game jitters.

I dont disagree with any of this; but, seeing a couple of your posts...I believe you are significantly underplaying Moi, Hobbs, McCoy, and Gibson not being there. Those 4 dudes would have been HUGE!!! for us today.

I can’t believe McCoy won’t come back. That’s insane. A chance to help your team compete and win, and you sit on the sidelines? That’s such a loser mentality. I don’t like that at all. We really need him.

Hobbs should he hasnt proven anything yet


McCoy is 50/50 but I feel like hed want to prove he is healthy.
