You are accurate in your assumption. Game was not called the same for both teams. Go figure. On the way home from the game. There was a lot of obvious holding on UGA that didn’t get called and people were losing their minds about it. Also seemed to be a few DPIs on us that looked like they were BS. Waiting to see what they said on the TV copy about those plays
I think a 2 loss SEC team gets in. That’s the whole reason we’re going to 9 games. Honestly think Sankey would lose his mind if a two loss didn’t make it.It’s hard knowing we had a for sure playoff run and home game maybe even a first round bye if we win this game.
Letting it slip away vs being beat is gut wrenching.
Watching UGA being able to run at will in the second half was sad.
We need to win out to get to a playoff. Losing again and there will be a log jam of 2 loss teams and we won’t get in.
Definitely. It’s 3 loss that will get interesting. Schedule should be more scrutinized going forward. Last year’s Indiana team will have a tougher time making it.I think a 2 loss SEC team gets in. Our defense has major red flags if we’re comparing against other potential playoff teams. 44 points and 500 yards at home just isn’t close to being good enough. Our linebackers and safety play is, yet again, well below where it needs to be.Maybe we could let the season play out beyond 3 games before we call Georgia's offense average.
Or we could assume our defense is garbage and will allow at least 50 points against teams with a good offense.
If that was pass interference on Turrentine, whenever Stockton threw the ball into the fvking stands, that was MOST DEFINITELY a push-off on the 4th and 6 touchdown.Like any close SEC game there were lots of woulda, coulda, shoulda moments. It was definitely a heart breaking loss that we had our chances. All in all I thought the officiating was fair. Too me the 4th and 6 Georgia converted the touchdown was the play of the game. Absolutely perfect throw and catch. I hate Georgia and our margin of error for the playoffs is now very small but we had a field goal to win at the end of regulation which isn’t all bad. Anyway the sun will come up tomorrow.

Giving up 4 TDs to Syracuse as well. We gave up >50% efficiency today from 3rd and 4th down. Not gonna win big playing like that.
