Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

JG's UT v UGA preview. Film breakdown starts around 9mins. (It'll help his channel a lot if you watch it for 5-10mins or just let it play through in the background if you can't watch it all)

He actually does a great job, but I wish he would put out a few shorter vids during the week, and still do his long form content as well. He will make more money the more content he puts out every week.

JG should apply to Heup to get an analyst or GA job and work his way up, the dude really knows football.

I don't either...he is a really good defensive coach, but his defense wasn't all world before he started stacking 5* three deep, it was just a normal good SEC defense...and that is a fact.
This! 👆👆

Their defense against our offense has been a trenches talent issue.

Their offense against our defense has been a scheme that leaves the middle of the field wide open if you can't get quick pressure or don't have elite athletes to cover it. Until tomorrow, we've done neither of those.

Tomorrow both narratives change... I hope!

1) Our oline will be one of the best in the country and not only will the protect, we will run it down their throat.
2) I have seen "separation" aka open receivers all over the last three years and will again.
3) It's not Joey's legs that are going to be the problem for Georgia. We are going to run over them like a semi over a yearling on the interstate.
4) Gunner is going to be running for his life, he gonna feel more pressure and stress than Hitler in a Hebrew's house.
5) The crowd will not be a problem for us. When we are on offense, it will be quiet as fart in church.

Let's be honest it doesn't take a coach with a the intellect of a rocket surgeon to win at Georgia. Georgia is the most talent rich state in the country, if they land a fraction of that talent they are set. winning at Georgia is akin to the difficulty of falling out of a tree.

It's really incredible how many recruiting battles we've won down there recently. I saw an article on UGA 247 about it. They signed two guys from Milton where Redmond is from. Did not offer Redmond.

Vols - 34
UGA - 31

Statistically, Georgia's Eric Zeier had a definite edge over Tennessee's Heath Shuler in the battle of sophomore quarterbacks. But Shuler had the edge where it really counted -- on the scoreboard. Shuler scored two fourth-quarter touchdowns, the second with only 50 seconds remaining, to lead No. 20 Tennessee to a 34-31 triumph over No. 14 Georgia.
Zeier, who completed 18 of 26 passes for 354 yards, had driven Georgia to a 31-27 lead with six minutes remaining, as Garrison Hearst scored his third touchdown of the afternoon on a 17-yard run.

Shuler, who completed just 12 of 22 passes for 152 yards, had given Tennessee a 27-17 lead with a 4-yard TD run in the opening minutes of the final quarter. But Hearst, who also scored on a 4-yard run midway through the second quarter and finished with 161 rushing yards, closed the gap to 27-24 with 12 minutes left when he broke loose on a 64-yard scoring gallop.

But Shuler, who wound up with 233 yards passing and rushing, directed the Vols on an 80-yard march, which he capped himself with a 3-yard run.

Zeier, who was intercepted twice, appeared to have Georgia on the move in the closing seconds. But after a 37-yard completion, linebacker Reggie Ingram recovered an Andre Hastings fumble -- the fourth recovery in seven Georgia fumbles in the game -- and Tennessee ran out the clock.

Bring back those exact unis
My favorite road unis ever.

@mrMet favorite plays this weekend? Been a long week for me so I’ve only got 8-9 plays out so far.
I know Clemson has struggled, but I think they cover the 2.5

Lsu should handle Florida.

I don't see the Syracuse game getting to 68 points.

Oregon maybe, they won by 70, they should cover 28 at Northwestern

I don't think usc can win by 3 td at Purdue, I'm taking Purdue

I lean with you on all but the Florida game. I kinda think they hang around - if you eliminate one or two of their dumb mistakes last week and they win, that game is chalked up to looking ahead and the line is probably closer to 3. I’m trying to wait out the public on that one and see if I can get a better number than 7 tho.

USC has consistently struggled when going on the road. Purdue isn't great, but they are upgraded from a roster and coaching standpoint this year.

it needs to be devastating. ears ringing. war

storming the beach type ****

i dont want to hear properly ever again
The Oklahoma game was just unbelievable loud. I'll never go to that type game again without earplugs. I could hardly talk or hear for 3 days. The level stayed above 110 dbs 95% of the game. I don't know how they over came that . ie except we had Butch and they had the refs .

I think that number goes higher. LSU at home, Florida in turmoil.

Could be close, but I think uf folds.

Heard one dude taking SMU. Just cause rheir opponent is so bad.

I'd also agree with coach from talking Vawls I think USF will be a cover machine this year. He mentioned how one team every year covers like 10 in a row where Vegas just keeps under valuing them.
