Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I'm going to need more details. All google told me was that their mascot was a goat in 1892 and there was a few articles I found on the Auburn/UGA game that year.

Did they eat the goat?

They have more talent in their depth, but we're playing better ball right now.

As much of a homer and sunshine pumper as I am, I really have no idea who is gonne win. . .

I get the feeling this is gonna be an instant classic type of game. This could be the best game of the year.

The difference in this game could really be Neyland Stadium. Our fans are good for about a 3-6pt swing when Neyland is jacked.

I hope everyone going to this game understands that and lights the world on fire all game long.

The GOAT college player. Even better than Candace, imo.

Kellie also has 3 Rings.
She'll always hold a special place for me. That was peak years my mom and I went to games together, went to the FF in Minneapolis, met Holdsclaw at the mall and got a cd signed 😅.

Still remember reading in SI how she had signed with UT. Mom and I went ballistic. For good reason it seems.

Imo odds are we either we win a very close one...or we lose by double digits like every game since 2014.

We should know by mid Q3 when depth kicks in, or not.

I know you guys are probably sick of it....... But I believe in the power of prayer. And with so many special needs animals and rescues we've taken in....... Even though we aren't a rescue any more........

One of the rescue goats I took in from an abandonment case years ago has been going down hill this week. I thought we were making progress but we found him down this afternoon. I've moved him into our hospital stall. He's eating and drinking, but he's so weak. He's fighting and I'm fighting with him. Please say a prayer for him tonight and the coming days. Please say a prayer for me as well for wisdom and clarity, I'm struggling trying to figure out what the cause is.
never get sick of the power of prayer!
Praying for you and your friendly pet!

Hmm. . . greased pole challenge (@Weezer )?

*yep (thought it was the GameDay kick challenge for a minute)

**it would have to be quite a big prize for me to risk falling in the river 😂

I am about to head to the hospital to get this second rusty ball joint I call a hip replaced. Talk to you moans and moranettes later when I am doped up and feeling good.

Update on my goat Calvin, I think we've got him out of the critical stage. He's stronger but still way too weak to go out with his paddock mate.

After discussing with my vet who consulted with his alma maters veterinary program (UT Veterinary School), after looking at his blood work and fecal samples it has been determined his anemia was the result of a wormer resistant "bankrupt worm".

My vet has reported an uptick of goat deaths in this vicinity, UT confirms all over the south, likely due to either bankrupt or barberpole worm, both have been bad this year. Concern is about being on the verge of a drug resistant/proof variant of worm.

We caught and treated him just in time, vet said he's never seen a goat recover from that far down, now his paddock mate is showing some signs I noticed tonight. I am worming him with his first round of meds in the morning.

Calvin is getting twice his daily ration of goat feed, fresh branches of silver maple and hackberry as well as alfalfa hay with about a quarter cup of blackstrap molasses each day. He's much stronger but still very weak.

Thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. And big thanks to Vols who helped me figure out what I needed to do!
Glad he's better. Best keep him away from the UGA fans after they lose this weekend. Apparently they have a history.
