I love this crash they're having. From being pumped up on Lagway and the playoffs by the media all off-season to complete devastation in week 2 is phenomenal.

One of their fans apologized to the board for aggressively attacking any critic of Billy Napier during the offseason and then couched it and got really defensive when pointed out what an arrogant prick he was. Those are the kinds of details I dig for.

Just on defense..

By comparison we have 3 5*s and 17 4*s on defense

We have done very well in evaluations across the roster..we have a lot of 3*s playing like 5*s....so that helps.


Their defense is just going to be a really tough nut to crack.

And yet lowly GT, with fewer than 15 four-star players last year, took them to the wire and would have beaten them if they had a competent defense. GT almost pulled it off with strong offensive line play, a solid running game, and really good quarterback play.

If we can replicate those qualities, I believe our defense is good enough to hold them off. We need to come out aggressive like never before and set the tone early. Kick their teeth in on the first possession and showcase the all important Maxim No. 7: “Carry the fight to our opponent and keep it there for 60 minutes.”

We can definitely win this game...but it's gonna take us playing great to do it.

Only 11 of them are on the field at any given time. 5-Star and 4-star guys are no more impressive than 1-star guys sitting on the bench drinking gatorade.
