But that's the 'beauty' of his gig. If he's wrong, it's satire. If he's right, he's connected. Real satire should be actually funny. Presenting plausible things as truth that aren't is just kinda sh1tty.

Right. He's gone far beyond just posting blatantly fake news. He posts plausible "scoops" that are just the result of being plugged into the rumor mill. Like the Adidas deal. He can throw darts at the wall and gloat when he gets one right, but hide behind the parody account label when he's wrong.

I’m just saying I know he was contacted. I honestly don’t really care who it is as long as they represent the big orange. Baffles me why grown men care what celebrities they get to see on TV.

That and uniforms, I'll never understand how grown men spend so much time and energy on either. I'd only ever known teenage girls to care so much about fashion and celebrities before joining VN.

I mean some of us just like to see them branch out a little bit. It’s not like it’s going to ruin my week or my game day if it is Morgan Wallen. Personally, if we’re going to repeat, I’d love to see them bring back Bianca Bel Air. I thought she did a hell of a job when she did it a few years back. And that move would also match up well with ESPN‘s new partnership with WWE.

It's puffery. Wouldn't even stand up in court. It's so outrageous, it's clearly a joke. And yet internet facebook grandpas keep getting bamboozled by the likes of RGW and QAnon constantly. Zero effort to do their own verification. It should act as a learning lesson for many.

Similar to the studies on folks that respond to headlines without even reading the article first. An indictment on our reactive outrage society that fails to do their own research before reacting.

My grandad always said not to listen to strangers. Now it's a part of the worldview to believe everything on the internet...posted by total strangers. Also...you're not old SS. Now, Jack, he's old. Or at least he wants us to believe he is 😅

They are loaded. Games against them can turn bad quickly much like we saw against Ohio State in the playoffs where many of our guys looked pedestrian against theirs. That will upset some people but when you compare approx 90% BCR against a approx 60% BCR there are obvious visible differences. We have to play our best and catch some breaks.

To add to it. Imagine having that fame and still being overly excited to even be considered to do it just because you love Tennessee football. Then some middle aged internet dudes gotta have their say because gosh darn it.
