Or Boston? Or Chicago? Or DC? All of those cities have really great aspects. Boston might be my favorite city. I vastly prefer rural, quiet areas, but I enjoy walks in Boston.

I've lived in some of the biggest cities in this country, and some of it's smallest towns. While I prefer a small town in the country, with wide range, clean air, peace and quite, good people and values...I always enjoyed my time in the city, as well.

I've been to Boston, only a couple of days, though. Really didn't get to explore, enjoy or hate it.

I would vote USC as they are immensely less likely to ever be elite.

USC makes sense - like it or not that has been a highly competitive series for a long time. I could see why they would go there.

But losing Kentucky is a real travesty - that is one of those “hidden” SEC rivalries that doesn’t get sufficient attention. Two fanbases that hate each other.

or better yet, go back to a 10 team conference and play everyone.
if you want a 20 team conference, split it into 2 groups and have them playfor a championship, ala NFL.

You can root for Arch and against the longhorns all at the same time. I want him to have a great season and yet for the longhorns to win no more than 4 games.

The longhorn fans are on the same level of delusional grandeur as ohio state, michigan, bama gators and miami fans. Cannot stand any of these fans.

My son (age 5) said it best when a longhorn fan neighbor tried to get him to root for the longhorns. Neighbors are obnoxious longhorn fans.
My son’s response: We don’t root for cows, we eat them!
They had no answer. Damn longhorn fans got schooled by a 5 year old!
