USCe knew what Michigan was doing. I am sure they knew exactly how they were doing it too. No doubt in my mind that they had our defensive signals. Even if stalyns & UM didnt give up our signals, I believe they got them on their own.

No way in hades do they magically wear defensive wristbands during the UT & Clem games, proceed to beat the dog piss out of both teams and then never use the wristbands again. They cheated. Why would you never use something again if it was a huge part of your biggest wins in years?

They either got the signals from UM or they got them on their own, the same way UM did. I can not be convinced otherwise.

There offense is very basic and gunner can only run. Have to sell out for the run and play man. Need Boo ready to go so we can spell Ty and Hood with McMurray.

I still like our chances. I would only let the starters on DL play one series this weekend and then rest. We will need Eason, Bailey, Moi, and Wallace to handle the load (I say Wallace for his size). Moi isn’t playing which is good.

Likely the best chance we have had in a while to beat them. I for own want to see Campbell getting 20-25 snaps this weekend. See if his five star comes out and if he flashes, unleash him some against UGA too.

Hobbs returns MSU and may play vs UAB

nothing we can do now. Hopefully those guys get back sooner than later. Sucks having to play UGA with the defense looking like this.

I think we’re fine. Most Syracuse yards came when we unloaded depth. And we had Eason and Bailey play 60-65 snaps. That’s a lot for game one and not being in game shape. They will be to handle 40-45 easily against UGA. Syracuse had way more plays than UGA will. I bet they will have around 60-70 on offense. This will help the defense a lot.

I don't understand reacting with that level of violence. Little dude needed to be quiet but I agree the level of escalation was excessive.

Also...one more thing.

Connor Stallions making it all about offense. We don't think South Carolina's defense knew our offense man...we KNOW their offense knew our defensive signals.

And considering Connor was at Michigan from 2018-2023 and Tim Banks was at Penn State from 2016-2020 you very much spent time analyzing our defense. Signal stealing almost never benefits a defense since the offense dictates pace. So even if you know the changes ya need to make you can't sub to adjust, and you don't know how much time you have to make the alignment adjustments.

If you know for sure where the pressure is coming from and what coverage the defense is in, that is a huge advantage

Plenty can be taught, and learned with a slap across the face. Honestly, probably more demeaning anyway. That guy shoulda walked away. Had little guy walked up to him, give em a rap on the beard.

IMO our lack of stopping the run was more on the linebackers in the second half than DL.

Bolton and Harmon looked confused. Even Spillman got caught a couple times. Syracuse runs a great scheme and one that gives lots of teams fits. UGA has a very basic run scheme.

Hope we see Burns more this week. Bolton didn’t look good to me.
