Lack of quality depth on the interior DL is a bit unsettling and I think will prove to be our biggest weakness on D. Definitely not the same as last year.
Way too early to make such a definitive judgement. This D is only going to get better. We went real deep into the rotation due to a few players getting dinged up and having a big lead in the second half. Hobbs will return soon. And we got the best D-line coach in the business. Not worried about this D. We just need to stay away from major injuries. But we will see in time. GBO

I really appreciate Guarantano. That guy took so much abuse during his time here and when he could be bitter, he’s nothing but thankful of his time at UT. He took so much crap, but he tuned it out. He was the unfortunate product of bad coaching and a horrible culture. Heupel would’ve done so much more with him.

FWIW I don’t think he ever had a chance to develop. He took so many hits early on behind those terrible offensive lines. I don’t care how tough you are that affects you.

Anyone got an opinion on best area to stay in Philly if you have to be there?
I love Philly. Last week, I was at our office at 1880 JFK Blvd just across the river from the 30th st train station and it was a very nice area. We live a couple hours west so only get up there a few times a year but always have a blast.
Last visit with my wife and we stayed in City Center East near Independence Hall and it was great. Sorry I can't recall the hotel. There are some bad areas, like any big city, but there are many nice places to stay and so much history to explore.

Edit, check out the Roost

Depends on what your looking for. I lived in West Chester for a few years; it's just outside the city. It's very nice, safe, with an easy path downtown...just stay away from Chester.

Downtown: Fairmount is nice, with easy access to Center City; Fishtown is really nice and cool, and safe; Old City, Society Hill...as I said, depending on what you're looking for.

JG was one of the best dudes I worked with in my time with the AD truly one of the nicest most hardworking guys who got absolutely boned by terrible coaches

Hope he has a super successful career doing what he’s doing now and definitely will be watching his content on the Vols going forward. Super smart kid who knows the modern game better than most

Well, that and players having their god-given right to earn whatever the market bears...when they were completely screwed over for a century under the scum ADs, NCAA, and conferences, all in cahoots.

But, yes, I like your point too...Buck Fama 😏
I don't like players earning whatever the market will bear from the standpoint of it now being a pro sport. It's less about playing for a particular school and more about the $$$$. But the old system was terrible. I understand the point but it makes the game less interesting.
