Fulton Falcon ! But Jackie was all man on the football field, no need for a spirit stuffed animal. Plus, all that stuff came out years later, not while he was at UT, iIrc........and I don't, Walker was before I could remember UT football, that began at 8, when Jimmy Streater was QB.

Check out this clause in Florida AD Scott Stricklin's new contract:

"Notably, Stricklin's new contract includes an option for a post-athletic director term, where he's able to become a special assistant to the succeeding athletic director upon the expiration of his contract if he's no longer serving as UF's athletic director."

Doesn't that make it sound like this guy is basically unfirable? After the last football hire, I think I'd be incensed. But this is how things work at the most corrupt "Athletic Department" In the country—The UAA. Heck Jeremy Foley is still pulling strings there. Many Gator fans realize this too.

this isn't unique, many directors of X Y Z institutions get such contract stipulations. Usually to ensure compensation during the assist in transition period
