David is making the wrestling game more interesting now. Some big time guys that would be thought to psu coming to Stillwater now. Stillwater has a long wrestling tradition.

He is currently listed as 265 on the roster.

I think he was a fine depth piece add. You only have so much money and the roster wasnt appealing for a transfer coming in looking for playing time.

Georgia does not scare me at all. In the past they have overcome Kirby's teams offensive deficiencies with nasty defense and a strong running game. I don't think that is the case this year. Listening to Kirby you can tell he knows his team is a vulnerable as they have been in a while. The fact that they don't look dominant in the run game and Gunner is no Lurch, should be a major concern for the barking fools.
Last year it was all on Lurch and when he went down it was over.

I heard this conversation. It sounded more to me like he was trying to level with Bama fans that the old Bama is no more when he said this. I don't think it was an excuse. Bottom line is when you aren't as competitive in NIL as most of your rivals, you can't afford to coach your guys as hard as Nick Saban used to coach his.

When I watched Saturday's game live, I primarily watched Aguliar because I was excited to see how he performed. And he certainly didn't disappoint. Now having watched the game a second time, it was the OL that really stood out. Wow!! They were physical and played with an attitude. I can't remember the last time I saw our OL play this well. They pushed and manhandled the Cuse defense on every snap. I was shocked to see how many times they drove Cuse players into the ground. Beast Mode!!! And this was with 3 of the linemen playing different positions at the last minute due to Sanders being held out. Even after the shifts, the communicatrion and coordination was good. So happy to see Perry excel. Plus, Umarov coming in and doing great. And just think, this was the first game. They will get better and better as the season progresses. Edit: Forgot to mention, there's a guy on YouTube who did a film study on Aguliar. It has a lot of slow motion replays from behind the offense, and it show just how terrific the OL performed. High recommend you watch it.

Looking forward to seeing more of the OL depth Saturday.

Just a thought on the concerns about the DL giving up yardage to Cuse, there were series in the 3rd and 4th quarter when we played true freshmen and walk-ons at DL and LB at the same time. And that was against the Cuse 1st team. They might have given up some yards, but Cuse still didn't score that much. That playing time against a Group 4 opponent will prove invaluable as the season progresses. Hopefully, the DL injuries will heal fast.

I'm even more excited for this season. LET'S GO VOLS!!!!!!

I also worked with a former OL walk on at TN. She was much more aggressive than he. Both good sales people, completely different methodologies.

A sales job and football game are two completely different worlds. Drive to dominate the man in front of you is a different drive than it takes to have the most sales numbers. This is silly.

Our OL is playing so well right now and recruiting is going so well that the Elarbee critics are backtracking. I've seen them do it.

Feels like we have a good shot. Especially if Moi and Hobbs are back.

I think if we can force Gunner to beat us with his arm we are in good shape. Especially when he hasn't been in anything close to Neyland before. Run defense worries me.

Our o-line may be able to hold up better than any since 2016.

We specifically hire, seek out applicants who have played sports recently.

1. They are team players, and carry that mentality into business world.

2. Are independent, and typically competitively driven.

Sales can be rewarding, and requires a lot of same positive, driven mind set that athletics does. Anyway, we arent pushing linemen out of the way, no.
