I never said money wasn't a factor at all. It always is. The guarantees as you mention are substantial.

Like I said, in order to adequately compensate him for the insanity he has to deal with there, they really need to be paying him more than an average of $10.7m/year. Especially when he was offered $9.5m/year to stay where he was at an easier, much less pressure job. It amounts to about a 12% raise or so year-over-year. It isn't like Alabama was tripling or quadrupling his salary.

...and that was my point. The University of Pennsylvania is a freaking Ivy League school (not thought of for athletics at all), and they dwarf Penn State's success in basketball.

We beat UGA and look good doing it we will be ranked top 7 and in major control of our playoff dreams.

We lose to UGA and look good, we drop 1 to 2 spots. Still have it all in front of us.
