To add to this I believe that Alabama was so desperate to hire someone with name recognition, they didn't look to see if the DeBoer hire was fit culturally or not.

The Gibson absence is unfortunate. Either way, this offense is going to have to score 35-40 points in the games that matter this season for this team to win. This defense is going to take a step back and that's okay. I don't see the defense holding good teams under 24 points like they did last year.

Is anyone else confused by the lanorris sellers hype? The dude is a highlight reel waiting to happen when it comes to running, but he isn’t a great QB. Seems like the QB ranking these days is more about highlights reels over being a great QB.

I’ve been saying this for a while. He’s mediocre as a passer but so so dangerous as a runner.

The Heisman hype for him will die as soon as he faces a good defense or two.
