It started as soon as NIL eliminated Bama's pay players with impunity advantage. Nickie never won at Bammaw without that and never amounted to anything after NIL ended it.

You're a man after my own heart, Orange...with your Bama and Saban hatred.

I use to say he was the GOAT, I admit...thought nothing about his cheating, because it's the SEC and major college football, EVERYBODY cheats. But, after EVERYTHING came into full focus, in the various ways that it did (NIL and his detest of it...the details of our own cheating; $60,000!!! Bama would spend that in a weekend...etc), it became crystal-clear obvious the depth of his cheating. And, even worse, how it was not only ignored by the SEC and NCAA, but protected... while programs like ours and LSU and Auburn and Ole Miss had investigators up our asses for years and years.
