In cases like this, yes it is a facemask penalty because he grabbed the helmet and twisted:

All I know is if a Tennessee player got his helmet pulled like that and there WASNT a flag called, we would’ve raised hell
To be a facemask penalty, one has to grab, twist, or pull the facemask or grab the helmet opening around the face with a pull or twist. Grabbing at the side of the helmet is not a facemask penalty.

College football goes by the NFL rule in this. Rule 12 Section 2 Article 15.

My 11 year old was clueless to the whole fiasco. I showed her the old and new logo.

She said “who needs a new logo when your whole restaurant is built around being an old country store?”

It’s that simple, folks.
I think they nuked everything old country store in the interior at the same time. Mental giants. The old sign restored, for fans of the restaurant… “It’s a trap”

And we lost AR.... if this is true there is not enough disdain in the universe for him

Just think how much better we could have been last season, if Nico would've been fully committed to the VOLS. We went 6-2 in the SEC, 10-3 overall, and finished ranked in the top 10 with a half-hearted QB. Heupel is a freaking magician.

I am now convinced that 17-0 is more likely than 8-4 is this season. If Joey Foosball can churn that cheese, we could definitely be SEC champions, maybe even, national champions this season.

As if that’s that much better? It’s still really bad depth, sure they maybe talented in terms of ranking, but we have yet to see 4 of the 7 even see a collegiate snap, and veryyyy limited action for the other 2
they made the decision to play the young talent and not just at WR but we will see it all over.

at this point we all know ab the depth numbers and we all recognize the issue at WR. Why keep crying ab it now? there is nothing we can do except hope these guys play well and stay relatively healthy. Luckily they are playing against corners this week who also havent played meaningful snaps or any at all in one case.

I'd bet that it's taken some steps back since then. There have been a lot of big companies exiting that state.
As of 2024. The last fiscal year to see. Even if they fell to...say, 10th...that's still insane lol. Just a single state. Insanely productive.

As for corporate companies, I have no doubt. They'll flee over and over to the lowest common denominators. Once BFE, USA is deemed too costly, then they'll go to China, only to realize everyone left there 20 years ago to find cheaper labor markets in SE Asia, India, Africa.

Nothing would ever surprise me about those folks.

Just passed Japan in data released this year actually. No steps back. Cali’s economy is growing faster than the 3 largest world economies - US, China, & Germany.

Also has the largest share of manufacturing and agricultural production in US.

And yet somehow, by mere magic, has the world's 4th largest GDP. Just passed Japan a couple years ago.
All spent tho. Between the billions “lost” from the missing bullet train and earmarked for wildfire recovery but sent overseas to pet projects like George Clooney’s wife. At least Newsome gets new mansions every quarter. 😏

Not sure what her point is. Boo is just as likely to get drafted out of Tennessee as he is at Colorado. Playing for Deion doesn't make him more likely to get drafted. And, with Deion battling cancer, is he even coaching Colorado next year? I hope Boo isn't as eager to burn bridges as his mom his.

Think the writing is on the wall at this point, but I agree I hope Boo has a more thoughtful approach to deciding how to handle this off-season than his mom.

Such a stupid tweet tho. Even if he shopped around, tanking a game would make you less valuable in the market lol. Also why would he tank one game and come back and help the Vols win the next 4?

Damn people are weird.

It's about not being focused. Not being locked in to real wealth. Not about throwing a game.

I’m sure Vol Doc agrees with you that 17-0 is more likely also.
