I’m with you on Squirrel, but why can’t we consider Tyler Baron (or Ty Chandler for that matter) a VFL when he played here for four years and got a degree?

I think most folks agree ending college career at TN = VFL

Dalton Knecht, Kennedy Chandler, Tobias Harris, Chaz Lanier...all 1 year guys but VFLs as they ended their college career here.

Didn't finish here...you wanna love on em despite the fact they quit us for money, then go for it...I am not, they are dead to me as Vols.

None of them left because they didn't have playing time...they were all needed starters and simply quit for more money.

Baron is a Hurricane...
Chandler is a Tar Heel..
Squirrel is a Seminole..

That's what they all chose to be instead if Vols, so that is what they are to me.


Edit... I know TC was before NIL, but he left us when we really needed him.

You better hope you’re wrong because our starting QB this year happens to be from the same state Nico was from. I don’t think it was a Cali problem it was just a Nico problem.

Cali is full of athletes and we need to start recruiting that state better like the old days. Some of our best players we’ve had over the years have come from there so let’s not write it off because we landed a dud.

It was a general observation not the rule. And far a Nico goes, he may very well have put in the physical work, but it is obvious he didn't put the time in the film room.

I've been watching tape on all of the 2nd and 3rd year players who are slated to get playing time this year and Farooq's tape jumps right at you. He's an absolute headhunter, great in coverage, takes perfect angles and can cross the field in no time. He played at St. Francis in Baltimore which is a top 3 high school for D-1 talent and he played against other powerhouses like IMG, Mater Dei, etc. so he's been going against the highest level of talent for years. If you wondered why we didn't go after a safety in the portal, watch this tape. 3-star haters in shambles

Not sure what her point is. Boo is just as likely to get drafted out of Tennessee as he is at Colorado. Playing for Deion doesn't make him more likely to get drafted. Btw as a college student I lived off of less than $20,000.00 a year, and was happy. Three jobs, and walked to one of them.

Right out of college, I was an assistant pro at a club in Boca Raton. Made $7.25 an hour.
Made more playing mini-tours and gambling. Best four years of my life..............Living day to day.
