I really don't get the 9-3 predictions for the Gators...by Josh Pate when you look at where he predicts their opponents too

at LSU
at Miami
vs Texas
at A&M
vs Georgia
at Ole Miss
vs Tennessee

That's just the AP top 25 teams they face... at Kentucky, vs FSU could be losses too.

For some odd reason, uk has given them trouble over the last 7 years. Uk is 4-3 over that span and they play in lex this year.

Everyone who is predicting a good season for UF is putting a massive amount of faith in Lagway being a Heisman caliber QB and staying healthy. Without Lagway, the talk would be about if they make a bowl game.

also I get Bama has a pretty soft schedule...but they were 9-3 last year with an even easier schedule (only played 4 top 25 teams, only 2 on the road).

This year they open at FSU, play at Georgia, vs Tennessee, at South Carolina vs LSU and then vs OU (those 4 are all in a row. I'm still not sure how much trust I have in DeBoer with so much unknown on their offense... I think 10-2 is crazy talk personally.

Pate tends to elevate schools that he has visited. I remember him saying that Florida had everything there but would they give Billy the time.

he has become insufferable to me. I used to listen to him regularly but his ego turned me off. Dude acts like he's the supreme emperor of college football

Hey, question for you that have been here for several years...Wasn't there one, or more, person(s) on here who stated that even though Jesse Perry went to a small school, and was a standout, that he would have success here? I think he's just nervous. I've picked up on a nervous tic of his: every time he says something that doesn't immediately land with the other VQ guys, like a joke or sarcastic remark, he takes a sip out of his mug. It's like Rick Barnes wiping his face/mouth every time a UT player scores a bucket. Once you see it, you can never unsee it.
