Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

I think the olympics should be dropped. They have been terrible for over 30 years.
I personally love the Olympics. I try to record everything so that I can skip a lot of the backstories. My wife and I are definitely Olympic junkies. I watched a ton of the archery this past Summer Olympics. It was amazing to see. I(I am an archery instructor for Scouts).

I’m not up for the pageantry except for the opening ceremony, but I mainly like to see all the teams from all the different countries.

I think this is a little myopic. As myopic as dismissing him would be. Aguilar has been at lower competition and has been reckless with the ball at times. IMO - He's a 3 star version of Tyler Bray without the proven wide recievers around him. Less arm talent, but similar running and instincts. His ceiling and floor are both lower than Bray, but a point i do agree on is - yes Heupel adds a lot to both his ceiling and floor.
He'll be fair to middling and we will be fine.

I'm not sure about that. This offense wasnt really setting John Denver's country music award on fire with Milton and Golesh before Hooker took over. I feel like the biggest piece of the puzzle is an accurate, quick thinking QB who can run a little.
And read defense pre-snap.

From what I read, Hooker spent a lot of hours studying film and that is why he was able to change so many plays on his own at the lone of scrimmage even moving fast.

How many times did we see Hooker change play catch defense in bad position and strike for big play or TD. Now ask yourslef how many plays did Milton or Nico change at line of scrimmage without checking sidelines.

And there is your sign.

Sanders' lineman watching him sprint backwards out of the nice pocket they just made for him:

Crazy thing is ESPN analyst are saying he was set up because he was running with guys who would be cut the next day and on the street 👀👀 buuuuuut that pocket is nice..sooooo👀

Would y'all take a 2003 season right now?

Lose to UGA at home but beat UF and Bama at their places (for the first time for each since... 2003). Drop another road game and then lose our bowl/playoff game to finish 10-3.

Also, can you imagine beating Bama in Tuscaloosa in 5OT nowadays?
I will counter that offer with 1998 season:
Beat everyone. Win big, win ugly, win after a miraculous defensive play (think arkansas).

How about

17-0 🤠

Instead?

We were killing it with a good mix throwing deep, outs, slants were killer at one point..RB’s and TE’s to throw them off occasionally it was just a nice offense that had any defense off balance as hell..i think a good mix is all we need and not whatever we were running predicting each snap the last two years. that was giving me Gump vibes running the same **** over and over..

I'm not sure how it works.

On some of those bootleg streams, whenever it goes to commercial, an ESPN screen comes up and says "your event is in commercial break and will return shortly". Makes me wonder if there is some sort of commercial free package or if it's a business package or something.
