@SoilVol or anyone that can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I put down quite a bit of St. Augustine sod this Spring. Most of it did really well. The pictures above are what I am having trouble with. It was looking great and about the 2 month mark it all of a sudden transformed into the pictures above.

Any thoughts on what is going on? Treatment options?

Thanks in advance.

It will probably be Winter by the time I read your response 😂
Does that area that’s browning get much such? St Augustine needs a good amount of sunlight to thrive. It’s relatively tolerant to shade but more sun the better. Depending on your irrigation schedule and what happened over the summer you also may have gotten some brown patch. Warm overnight temps + evening watering is how lawn disease forms. Was rampant in Tennessee this summer with how many afternoon rain showers we got in May and June

FIL passed this morning at around 3 am. He is at peace. Grateful he didn't linger but terribly sad to have lost him. Thank you all for your prayers. Still a long way to go in this valley of grief and loss but our heavenly Father will sustain and comfort us.

Continuing to pray for you as well @UTProf.
So sorry I missed this earlier 🙏🏻🧡

Sorry for your loss, I'm sure your kids are taking the loss of their grandpa very hard. Condolences to you are your family...

You also probably thought the internet was dumb when it first became mainstream
I've got him blocked, not sure how he seems my dumb posts to begin with, 😂.

I’ve been to Mercedes Benz for other games just not UT. Could I not just wait until Friday for cheapest tickets to drop to $50 and do standing room only?
I'm not sure I'd want to go there, it's awful close to Memphis. . .

Do they always have tickets til kick-off? Might be a good idea to do that if you really want to go, unless you're worried about availability.

here's a version posted by a a larry smith. @LWSVOL any idea who that is?😎

ahhh the VQ days...

I was a sophomore at UT who attended this game and still somehow forgot this happened. I guess maybe because it was 10 days before something kinda memorable took over the public consciousness

What was there before? Looks scalped or scorched. Idk much about St. Augustine, but if you've got shallow topsoil there due to some gravel or something underneath then a dry spell could send it to early dormancy.
