@VolsDoc81TX just continues posting as if he didn't drop a "where's the copperhead" picture. Probably hoping for some type of consultation fee from @SoilVol after he gets bitten thinking he's simply diagnosing the state of his grass (a question perhaps best posed to @TrippieRedd ). Except, of course, for his inevitable frustrations with the insurance companies that will tell him to send @SoilVol home to die unless he's able to pay out-of-pocket.It’s so awesome to have a football head coach who truly gets it!
Got me right in the feels.

I am so sorry for your loss.I know I've been absent for a little bit but I had reason... As much as it killls me to post this, the love of my life, a man I had been with for 27 years, is gone. We all thought it would happen back in March but he made it to Aug and I'm angry but grateful for it. Half of my soul is gone and IDK if it will ever be replaced but all of you have been such a tremendous support to me and such a large part of the journey that you deserve to know even though all I really want to do is sink inside the deepest hole I can find.
I can't thank you enough for how much you supported us over the years. You might not have known it but Brian was an alum and I just don't have the words to describe how much he meant to me or how much every thought, prayer, and good thought meant to me. I'm shattered and I have no idea what happens next. He was my everything in so many ways. But last night he went into cardiac arrest after his long illness and when I saw him he was brain dead. I was forced to make a decision that no one should ever have to make but I knew he was no longer there this time.
He escaped death so many times and we both received so much love and support here. I am absolutely shattered - half of me is gone - but I'm also grateful for everything VN did for us. Please keep me and him in your thoughts and thank you so much for everything. You have no idea how much you've meant to me these past few years.
Sorry for your loss.FIL passed this morning at around 3 am. He is at peace. Grateful he didn't linger but terribly sad to have lost him. Thank you all for your prayers. Still a long way to go in this valley of grief and loss but our heavenly Father will sustain and comfort us.
Continuing to pray for you as well @UTProf.

@SoilVol or anyone that can help, I would greatly appreciate it.
I put down quite a bit of St. Augustine sod this Spring. Most of it did really well. The pictures above are what I am having trouble with. It was looking great and about the 2 month mark it all of a sudden transformed into the pictures above.
Any thoughts on what is going on? Treatment options?
Thanks in advance.
It will probably be Winter by the time I read your response![]()

@VolsDoc81TX has been squirting Brawndo on the grass. It's got electrolytes.Water could be the reason. Most folks water morning and at night.
Wonder if there is some type of weed and feed or chemical it doesnt like? We hired Greenthumb this year. Lime, weed, feed. Our yard has brown spots all over. Going to let them aerate, over seed, then in spring. One more time.
They probably burned it up.
If it doesnt resolve. Greenthumb...View attachment 766633
After careful consideration, I have determined that China is lying about their population and is closer to 800m people, maybe less.View attachment 766612

You also probably thought the internet was dumb when it first became mainstreamGrok along with all other AI is dumb. Why @Enki_Amenra loves AI so much is baffling.
