Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

He's supposedly a great guy. He just has proved to be a horrible closer. Glad to see him finally slay that dragon.
never at that level (think Single A baseball)......but I choked away 3-4 "big" tournaments. I admit it 100%.

It ruined me for several years.........It's hard to not focus on that when you get the lead.

It still haunts me.

It becomes a major mental battle once you fail a few times. It's been hard to watch. Glad he won't have to worry about that anymore.

@SoilVol or anyone that can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

I put down quite a bit of St. Augustine sod this Spring. Most of it did really well. The pictures above are what I am having trouble with. It was looking great and about the 2 month mark it all of a sudden transformed into the pictures above.

Any thoughts on what is going on? Treatment options?

Thanks in advance.

It will probably be Winter by the time I read your response 😂

Thought for sure this was a "find the copperhead" post. . .

I spent 5 minutes staring at the pictures before I read the post and realized there is no copperhead.

Ofc I'd never bet against any of our players (bad karma 😅) but if JA ends up higher in QBR rankings in the SEC (assuming Nico didn't improve over last year):

Top- 6 (63rd percentile) in all games

And/or

Top-5 (69th percentile) vs only SEC opponents

...then we'll be coasting this year for sure. 9-3 locked in. I'm here for it. Love the confidence, Beast. Lfg
This shows him as 9th in the SEC IN QBR. The only qbs that he beat out was the bottom tier passers in the SEC. He had a lower QBR than Vandys “stud” qb.

Not sure. But I found the copperhead.

Just finalized my Pebble Beach trip this week. Gonna cross off the last big golf outing on my bucket list-----Gonna play Pebble Beach, Spy Glass and hopefully The Olympic Club in San Francisco next June. Golf is an expensive venture but this trip gives new meaning to expensive
Congratulations!
I have been lucky enough to get to play Spy Glass and Pebble Beach. Also got to play the Links at Spanish Bay. Three different trips. Spanish Bay was the toughest because of the wind.

I am not a good golfer, but will never forget holes 4,5,6 at Pebble Beach where I went birdie, birdie and lipped out a birdie putt on 6 to settle for a 5” par putt. That’s after going double bogey, double bogey and bogey on 1,2,3.
On the 18th hole I really pulled a hook trying to cut the corner over the Pacific. The tide swell was going down and my ball hit a rock and ricocheted to the middle of the fairway. Because of the gift from the Golf Gods, I got a par on 18. Let’s not talk about all the other holes or my final score of 92. 😂

FIL passed this morning at around 3 am. He is at peace. Grateful he didn't linger but terribly sad to have lost him. Thank you all for your prayers. Still a long way to go in this valley of grief and loss but our heavenly Father will sustain and comfort us.

Continuing to pray for you as well @UTProf.
Prayers, Brother
