We will definitely get Bama and Vandy. The other will probably be UK or USC.

CFP selection committee to use enhanced metrics

The College Football Playoff selection committee will announce its first of six rankings Nov. 4 using enhanced metrics to help evaluate schedule strength and how teams perform against their schedule, the CFP announced Wednesday.

ADs, Presidents wanted more money. The coaches didn't want this. ADs needed a guarantee that SEC teams could still get in going 9-3, maybe even 8-4.

Also probably explains the season tix price hike for next year

The 9 game conference schedule is such an overblown issue...who cares. Oh but...the big 10 plays a 9 game schedule...blah blah blah...yeah that's easy to do when you only have 2 teams ranked in your conference all year.

You'll end up with some decent ones just due to the size of teams needing to check the power 4 box. There are only so many Boston Colleges to schedule. Seems to me we are about to get some good games.

Yes, another reason I don't like the direction of College Football. Bring back the 10 team conference and play rotating games with 'real competition' like USC, Nebraska, etc. Then again, the only games I can afford are probably the cupcakes (School for the Blind).

If all you do is watch sports, this ESPN package is pretty good. Apparently they will add a fox bundle for $10 more in October. Couple it with Peacock and/or Paramount and you are saving $40-$50/month on what YouTube tv is
