Recruiting Forum Football Talk IX

Thought of this in regards to the people that think Golesh's departure being the reason why our offense has struggled.

Remember when Joe Milton started the first two games and then what happened the moment Hendon stepped in there?

Its been the QB play periooodddd.

Can't wait to see the fireman (Joey Swaggy) spray all over the orangemen in 9 days. As the lord intended Heupel's offense to do.

Disagree on Boo. Sets a bad example to just play him without proper corrections. If he does what is asked, THEN play him.

I think the coaches are doing the right thing here.
I agree. We do not win more games playing a player with more talent but at the expense of the expectations and culture that you want to create. Casual fans SEVERELY underestimate the importance of culture.

Guess we’ll agree to disagree. But my points still stand. Check @de1conleys post history.
I mean yeah training groups are going to be a training groups but the original message was acting like Tennessee just can't land any of their kids. When Tennessee is a functional program, it hasn't been a problem. Every training program can be a hassle to deal with unfortunately but Tennessee has landed every single NPA guy they have actually wanted under Josh Heupel beside Carson Sneed and he flipped.

With the people NPA hired in the past year, the whole state just about is going to be associated with NPA in some fashion. Are they just supposed to move on from recruiting the entire state now? This staff feels as confident as ever about keeping in-state talent home. Hasn't been an issue, isn't an issue, won't be an issue with this staff.

My original point was with regards to de1conleys and NPA kids years ago. I’ve also acknowledged NiL made grimey dudes like him less relevant and influential.

Old heads on the forum are familiar with what I’m talking about.

At no point did I suggest we not recruit NPA kids.

So….. I’m not entirely sure what you’re going on about.

Put on the UTEP game from last year

man...Nico struggled even worse than I remembered.

Way behind Squirrel on a slant

Way over Bru's head on a comeback route

threw it at Dylans feet on a routine checkdown

threw it over Bru's head on a deep shot.

Didn't pick up a blitz on 3rd and 8. He got it together

dropped a snap.

Scoreless first quarter against a horrendous UTEP team.

He wasn't good, but looked athletic enough to be good. My support for him was mainly hoping that he was gonna make a big jump in year 2
