@TN-POSSUM is just being cautious about JA, as well as he should be. I don't think or believe JA is a bad QB but the fans thinking JA is going light up the SEC need to pump the brakes.

I believe JA will be used similar to Nico but can hit the deep ball more often, the run game and defense will determine how well Tennessee does this season, not the QB.

Notes: Hobbs is 1a DT when he returns, Boo is starter when he earns it, Beasley may slide into STAR above Boo if McMurray has to spell a CB.

I am curious about the STAR position once McCoy is fully healthy. I have very little confidence that Boo will take care of his responsibilities. So can one of Gibson/Hood slide to STAR once McCoy is fully healthy. That would be the best 3 coverage DB's we could put on the field together in quite some time. Depends on the offense we are facing obviously. STAR responsibilities change slightly based on the style offense we are facing.

Engine seems to be fine. We didn't mess with it yesterday. He's ordering a new fuel cell and lines. That should probably do it.

Yeah nice. Those lines get weak. You can squeeze the lines with your fingers. If you can feel any soft points it could be collapsing right there and starving itself.

Easy way to test that theory is run a line from top of fuel tank to the fuel pump. If you still have problem it’s not the lines. Before you go and buy stuff you don’t need. I hate throwing money at parts trying to fix an issue.

There's a huge difference between SEC defenses and the PAC 12 defenses, that Minshew played against. It was almost a lateral move for Minshew.

Really JA is nothing like JG. JG had a big arm and liked to show it off, he was cocky but he was actually gun shy and hesitant. JG was a tough guy. I remember his first spring game and Butch had this stupid throwing contest with the qbs throwing into a garbage can (should have been a sign). JG did a 360 before he threw and I knew then we were in trouble. JG was never a dual threat qb, JA is. JA does not have the biggest arm but I think he is a true gunslinger not unlike Heath Shuler although I think HS had a better arm.

But can JA drop dimes like this one from Nico?
